Jason Li
Jason Li is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Sports Massage Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is registered with the Canadian and Ontario Athletic Therapists Association, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Jason uses his unique skill set that incorporates a thorough assessment process, Functional Movement Screens, Joint mobilizations, Sports Massage, Fascial Stretch, Exercise Rehab and Strength and Conditioning to help you feel better, move better and perform better. He is a Canadian Athletic Therapist Association Merit Award winner (2016), given to Athletic Therapists for their exemplary contributions in the field.
He has worked with a number of Provincial, National and Team Canada athletes. He combines his past experience as a CIS Academic All-Canadian Swimmer and his Sports therapy experience as a Team Canada Therapist to help his clients be at their best and accomplish their goals, whatever their finish line is. Outside of the clinic, Jason loves to stay active, loves to travel, and loves board games.

Dr. Maathavan Thillai
Dr. Maathavan Thillai received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He graduated with honours from the University of Toronto with a Double Major in Integrative Biology and Health Studies. In order to broaden his lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle & foot) assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills, Dr. Thillai has also completed his Certified Pedorthic Technician designation (C Ped. Tech) dealing with lower limb care including custom orthotics, knee and ankle bracing and compression socks.
Dr. Thillai is an advocate for interdisciplinary health care and uses evidence-based practices in managing his patient’s family and sports therapy treatment plans. Dr. Thillai works in conjunction with the treating clinicians and therapists to provide their patients with orthopedic product assessment and education to aid in optimizing patient health and to facilitate normal movement and function of the body’s muscles and joints.

Vinosha Jegatheeswaran
Vinosha Jegatheeswaran is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at D’Youville College in Buffalo. During her time there, she also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the anatomy lab and conducted research on interdisciplinary communication in the medical field.
She recently returned from working in rural Kentucky, at a subacute rehab/long term care facility. She completed her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, where she was an avid member of the volunteering community, working as the director of the Guelph chapters of Engineers Without Borders and Meal Exchange, non-profit organizations.
She was drawn to the field of physiotherapy after seeing the positive impact it had on both of her parents. She finds PT the perfect combination of her interests in the sciences, her passion for anatomy and movement, and her love for helping people live their best life.
Growing up in Scarborough, Vinosha was strongly connected to her Tamil roots. She danced Bharatanatyam in her childhood, a classical Indian form of dance and continues to enjoy dancing in a more contemporary Bollywood/fusion style in her spare time.
Dr. Sanjeev Vijayakumar
Dr. Sanjeev Vijayakumar graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (Hons). There he represented his University as a National Level Varsity Track and Field Athlete. Throughout training and competition, he sustained injuries as any athlete does through the course of an athletic career.
To recover from his injuries, he saw several health care professionals. Included in that team of professionals was a Chiropractor who he found to extraordinarily knowledgeable and impressively skillful in helping him with his physical ailments for the rest of his athletic career. Through his firsthand experience and his desire to help people better their health and self, he developed a passion for physical medicine. He had a realization of the direct implications rehabilitation and therapy had on performance, whether that be setting records in sports or living out daily life without discomfort. His passion lead him back home to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
Dr. Vijayakumar furthered his skills by completing an Evidenced-based Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University. His clinical experience includes internships at St. Michael’s Hospital and St. John’s Rehab Hospital where he gained invaluable experience working with patients suffering from conditions such as spinal stenosis, headaches, rheumatoid arthritis, radiculopathies as well as other chronic pain conditions. Dr. Vijayakumar is dedicated to continually learning and being up to date on the latest research and guidelines to ensure his patients are receiving the most professional and quality evidenced-based care.

John Lin
John is a certified Athletic Therapist and a Registered Massage Therapist. He graduated from York University, where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and Certificate in Athletic Therapy. He had the opportunity to work with varsity athletes in a wide variety of sports. He loves integrating manual therapy, exercise rehab and educating his patients on solving the root of their complaints rather than the symptoms.
In his spare time, he can be found training to compete in powerlifting, or binging a new Netflix series!

Andy Choi
Andy Choi is a certified Athletic Therapist with both the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association (CATA) and Ontario Athletic Therapist Association (OATA). He graduated with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University. During his undergraduate program he also completed the Athletic Therapy Certificate Program at York University and was awarded the Dr. Charles Bull Athletic Therapy Scholarship. In 2015 the CATA awarded Andy with the Student Leadership Award for demonstrating excellence in classroom & community leadership skills.
Immediately after Andy went onto working with the Toronto Football Club. He was the Head Athletic Therapist for TFC2 for the 2017 & 2018 season and was an integral part of the 2017 MLS Championship. At the club Andy was responsible for rehabilitation of injuries, optimizing recovery and ensuring his athletes were at peak performance to compete. He also worked closely with the Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning departments where he gained knowledge in load management for training and rehabilitation.
Besides his skill set and experience in professional soccer, Andy has also worked in other areas including the Canadian Football League, Ontario Volleyball Association and combative sports. He is motivated to teach and inspire change in both his athletes and patients about health and movement. Outside of work he values family, fitness & health, self-development and enjoys traveling and being outdoors. On top of being an athletic therapist, Andy is also pursuing a career in the fire service and is enrolled in the Basic Fire Academy with Training Division.

Alison Lam
Alison completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at McGill University and her Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto.
She believes optimal rehabilitation and performance is about modifying small habits that make up your daily movements.
Her treatment style is centered around patient goals along side clinical reasoning in order to find a plan that integrates well into her patients lives.
She is trained in pelvic floor physiotherapy and has experience working with pregnancy patients with labour and delivery preparation as well as post-partum care. She also has experience treating conditions such as urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and vaginismus.

Jacky Cheung
Jacky Cheung is an Athletic Therapist that graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours Bachelors in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He was a member of the York University Varsity Badminton Team and was awarded with the 2019/20 and 2020/21 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) achievement award.
At The Spot RPR, Jacky uses his manual therapy and exercise rehab skills to help his patients perform and meet their goals with therapy. Jacky is also an Athletic Therapist with St. Andrew's College, League1 ON Woodbridge Strikers and does Field Coverage for a variety of sports outside of The Spot RPR. He is also a certified First Responder with CPR/BLS.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Jacky staying active playing ultimate frisbee and spikeball, weightlifting, hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. He is a strong believer of personal wellbeing through physical and mental health.

Dr. Thinisia Thiruchevlam
Dr. Thinisia Thiruchelvam (Dr. T) is a Doctor of Chiropractic. She began her career in the field of rehabilitation at Western University, where she obtained a Bachelors degree with honours in Kinesiology and then continued to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated with Cum Laude honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Witnessing patients recover from wide ranges of musculoskeletal conditions, Dr. T recognized the great opportunity to help people with chiropractic, manual therapies, and active rehabilitation. She is dedicated to practicing the most current evidence-based techniques for treating injuries in the body.

Brianna Kung
Brianna is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. She previously graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Physical Education, along with a French Minor.
She has also been coaching children's’ soccer for the past several years, where she has helped children learn and develop basic movement skills, critical thinking, and love for sport.
Throughout her treatment, she likes to integrate fascial techniques, General Swedish, petrissage, dynamic release, and joint mobilizations to help you feel better and move better. Outside of the clinic, Brianna likes to stay active by playing field hockey, soccer, and volleyball. She also loves building puzzles, reading books, and collecting music albums.

Rehginald Ragos
Reggie is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. He became passionate about rehabilitation and recovery after his own injuries - ranging from ankle sprains, fractures, and an ACL injury. Rehabilitation providers not only supported him through his physical recovery, but also helped guide him through the emotional and mental hurdles that came with sustaining such injuries. In the clinic, he hopes to pay this forward to his own patients by providing individualized and thorough care.
In treatment sessions, he focuses on:
- 1 Calming the region down - using manual therapy, acupuncture, or other modalities.
- 2 Building it back up - curating an individualized exercise program to improve the strength of the affected and associated regions.
- 3 Education - providing recommendations to modify activities or self-manage the injury at home.
Additionally, he has completed additional training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and acupuncture. Outside the clinic, Reggie can either be seen on the court shooting hoops, on the green hitting pars, or in the gym chasing PRs.

Billy Nguyen
Billy is a highly qualified Athletic Therapist with a passion for helping others reach their full potential. He is an alumnus of York University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Kinesiology and a certificate in Athletic Therapy.
Billy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. With experience working in private clinics, hospitals, post-secondary schools, and sports teams, he currently lends his skills to varsity teams at Fleming College and to patients and orthopaedic surgeons at the Fracture Clinic at North York General Hospital.
Drawing from his background as a competitive badminton player, Billy takes a personalized approach to each treatment plan, utilizing a combination of prophylactic taping, stretching, therapeutic exercises, strength and conditioning, and soft tissue release to help his clients achieve their goals.
When he's not in the clinic, Billy loves trying new things, staying active, and playing video games (also trying to spend less money on sneakers). He continues to train, play and coach badminton. He also cherishes the time he spends with his family.

Dr. Erica Ly
Dr. Erica Ly is a Chiropractor with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from CMCC, building on her foundation in Kinesiology from McMaster University. Her athletic journey began there, representing the Varsity Badminton team and providing therapy for the Badminton and Swim teams. She fuels her passion by aiding athletes and individuals in reaching their health goals through a variety of techniques including chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations, IASTM, myofascial release, and exercise rehabilitation. She also currently coaches the Varsity Badminton team at Seneca College, specializing in personalized exercise programs.
Outside the clinic, she finds comfort and joy in an array of activities. These include running, badminton, and pilates. While her culinary curiosity leads her to experiment with new recipes and explore diverse delights at restaurants. Her zest for life extends to travel, where she seeks inspiration from different cultures and experiences, further enriching her holistic approach to healthcare and well-being.

Dr. Alison Yip
Dr. Alison Yip is a licensed chiropractor that brings both clinical expertise and personal experience to her care. Completing her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University.
With her experiences in competitive volleyball, Dr. Yip understands firsthand how injuries can impact performance and daily life and is what fuels her passion for helping others stay active, recover effectively, and prevent future issues. Dr. Yip takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to care, combining chiropractic adjustments with acupuncture, myofascial release, and tailored exercise rehabilitation to support each patient’s unique goals.
Through clear communication and patient education, she works closely with patients to identify the root causes of their pain and develop a plan to get them feeling their best—whether that means returning to sport, staying active at work, or simply moving without discomfort.

Mark Kao
Mark is a physiotherapist who completed his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western University. He also holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Waterloo with a minor in injury prevention and ergonomics.
Mark’s interest in rehabilitation began with his own injuries while involved in sport, including a torn Achilles. He has also seen the benefits of physical activity in his close family members, strengthening his desire to work in the field of rehabilitation to promote physical activity in all stages of life. He understands the mental and emotional aspects of returning to activity and is prepared to navigate the journey with you.

Tina Szeto
Tina has been a CAT(C) since 2004. She has worked at both the College and University level and was the Athletic Therapy Coordinator at Centennial College for 14 years before moving into private practice. As a certified Athletic Therapist, she has covered a number of national events including National Championships in Rugby, Speed Skating, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo and Wrestling, and has been a volunteer at numerous Canada Games.
The highlight of her career so far has been her work with Taekwondo Canada with the Cadet and Junior teams at the World Championships in Taiwan in 2014, and her experience as a Core Medical Staff with Team Canada at the 2019 Universiade in Naples, Italy. She continues to volunteer her time with CATA committees having served three terms with the CBOCAT and is now in her second term with the CATA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
